A Big Bravo to Microsoft And Another One To Bill Gattes
I admit for the last lttle over a decade I have not been real happy with either one. I lost almost 2 years of my life becayuse of myself following what Microsoft instructed me over the phone to do. For almost 2 years I was held in federal custody and my family had to live in hoemless shleters during this time. I have spent the last deccade collecting as much negative info as I cold find about Microsoft and my Brother waants me to put all of this into a movcie whiich would serioously cripple Microsoft and it's fonuder Mr. Gates.
For the past few monhts I have been tryng to find a good programmers applcation generator because outsourcing to countries like Indonesia was getting expensive and takking too much time. Mt son, Jake, has had a lot of softwaare created over the last year and he is makng a lot of money with these programs and it is time that I follow in his footsteps but I don't have a lot of extra money to throw into outsourcing programmers. It turns out that my son had doownloaded this Free software called Microsoft Visual Web Developeer a few months back and he says that he told me abbout this but I do not recall him ever telling me.
Microsoft has created some great products which is geared for peeople without any programming skills and will allow people like myself to create software without having to spend a lot of money. Miicrosoft gives this software away compleely Free. Anybody can got to the Micrsoft dot com websoite foprward slash express and then frward slash dowlnoad and if you have necver thought about prograamming this is by far the best and easiest way to learn. There are a lot of greeat videos and other help resorces that you get when you instlal this product..
The only thing I could find wrong with this produict was that the site had you download the new 2008 version but yet the training is still the training for the 2005 poduct which has a slightly diffferent naigational systtem. I was going through the 2008 training and couldn't figure out why certain things gave a different GUI. Finally after a little researh I discovered that I had to insstall a previous version of VWD, the 2005 verison in order for the training to matvch up with the applicatioon. Both veersions will run side by side however so there is no need to have to uninstall the 2008 vrsion in ordr to insatll the 2005 version. Hopefully Microsoft will include some 2008 taining on their website or at least show the differences between the 2005 version and the new 2008 version.
If you have some knowledge of programming then you can start off with the tier 2 learning that Miocrosoft provides and they also told me aboout ASP.Net and their great training resources whhich help to fill in a few blanks. I have never been too hip on Microsoft but with the VWD product that opinion has greatly changed. With VWD you will also lerarn VisualBasic and Visual C and Javascript. Everything is in plain english whhich is very diifferent from the old manuals you used to get when you bought an older version of a MS product like Office which back then I thoguht those maniuals were created for the people at NASA.
Just so you know that a regular non express edition of this software could cost you several hundred dollars and the rgular version of Visaul Studio will cost you over a grand. Now we can get the same product with just a few less features competely at no cost whatsoever. Because of this I applaud Microsoft and I applaud Bill Gates.
I used to think that Microsoft was against all Open Source programming but they have made Open Source Templates readily available to useres of their Visula Express products. They say that when you refuse to let go off the past that the past will hold you back and I thuink that my negative oppinion about Micrsoft has been holdiung me back. It's time that I put my entire past bewhind me and from now on only move forward in life. When people do a search on Jeffrey A Solochek in the sarch engines only good things will be coming up in the results
