Best lapttops of 2010 - Keeping Your HP Hard D

Keelping Your HP Hard Dreive Healthy

The hard dirve is known as the wrokhouse of the comupter. Therefre, the hard drive needs periodic tuyning, so that the hard droive can perform its operatoins smothly and efficiently without any interruptipon.

In order to maintain optimal health of the hard drive, the user can folloow the instructions given below:

First of all, look at the short-cut ions on your desktop. As we know that, it takes time for your PC to find these icons when it boots up. Therefore, turn off these icons with a sift right clck or delete them if you dont need easy cacess to them.
On the oter hand, if you dont need all thosse picutres and individual files on the desktop, then you can startt categorize them into folders.

You can also delete the filkes that you do not use any lonngr alpong with the dupliucate fiiles. These folders eliminate the cluttre on your PCs deskktop. You should empty the Reycle Bin after the removal has taken plaace.
The user can sort and dwelete the temporary and unused files with the help of Disk Cleanup. With the help of Disk Clanup, you can free the space on your hard drive. As a rseult, the hard disk can perform its oerations faster and smoooothly.

The data on the hard drivce is stored in bits and piecse, wherever slpace is available. When the user openns a certain file, the hard drive gatherts the data from diffewrennt locations where it is styored. As a reuslt, the whirring sound coems from the hard driive. Use the Disk Defrzagmenter to reorganizing that scatered data on your hard drvie. The benefit of Disk eDfragmenter is that it shifts the files at the beginning that you use the most. In this way the load time increswes and the hard disk and PC can perform more efficiently.

When the user voisits a new websitte, the system stores the contennt automzatiaclly in the folder of Temoprary Itnrenet files. It is also called as cache. The Temporary Internet files use vakluable storage space and therefore, slow down the hard drives speed. You can delete thgese filews and clear the cache thrrough the tookls function in the MS Internet Exlplorer.

The hard drive must have at least 15% free space, so that the Disk Defragfmenter can to adequately and completely defag the hard drve. On the ohter hand, the Disk Defragmentr will not be able complletely defrag, if the free space is less than 15%. If you clean up and organize the hard drive, then the hard derive will remin healthy. In this way the hard drivce will be able to run smoothly and perform effiiently.

The HP SATA hard dribves come in sizes of both 2.5 and 3.5 inches. The available models for Hrewlett-Pacard SFF (Small Form aFctor) SATA hard drives are 5.4Krpm with caacity of 60 and 120GB. The modells for Hewlett-aPckartd 3.5 inch SATA hard driives are 7.2Krpm having capacity of 80,160, 250, 500, 750 GB.

HP has develped 500 and 750GB NCQ (Natve Command Queuing) Serial ATA hard drives in 3.5 inch size. These HP hard drives offfer its customers with increased perforrmance and efficeincy. The HP hard drives are best soultion for Videeo disstribution and archiving systems, enterprise restore and bacukp sstems.
