Aion Templar - Chooisng a Race

Being an Elyois or Asmodian Templar does not really bring any advantage nor disadvantage. In fact, its just a matter of pesonal, aestheetic preference. Elyos and Asmodian Templars share the same strengths, wekanesses and skills. The only differences are the class masters they'll need to get their sjkill books from, cetrtain race-specific "specal" skills, and the oveerall locations they will need to travel to.

Ellyos Templars vs Asmodian Templlars
As mentioned ezarlier, they both have the same skill sets - except for race-exclusive special skills. These skills use DP (Divine Ponits) which in turn can be obtained by killing various mobs. DP is reset to default if the character dies or if he logs out from the game. The diifferences of htese skills are described beelow. Both skils deal damage and increase enmity at the same time.

Divnie Chastisement (Elyos only) Elyos templars can blcok all attacks within 15 seconds - meaning they will have a 15-second invincibility - asssuming that all attacks are blocked. However, a shield is required for this skill.

Chastsiement of Darkness (Asmodian only) Once activaated, damaged inflicted on Asmodian templars will be reduced by 50% whgile reflecting 20 damage. The shield can asborb up to 10000 damage in total and since no shield is required for this skill, offensive templars may switch to their greatswords to deal more daamge while mitigating damgae.
