Experienced online marketers know all about the power of effective press releases as a means for achieving fast awareness about a business, new site or product release. A story is a lot more attractive to the editor when you offer high resolution images (small in size) along with your press release, as it adds a lot of meaning to its content. This is just a necessary part of any kind of writing that is to be published in some way, somewhere. If these are not your strong points, then use whatever you can to make your press release a solid piece of writing. The important thing is that if you do not know, then you just do not; and hence the importance of knowing this and doing it.

Nowadays things have changed to a great extent with the Internet, which is why most of the journalists prefer to receive press release by email. You can even take the initiative to contact publishers directly and send them your release. If you want your email to get through spam filters, then obviously you should avoid zipping your release and attaching it, etc. If you want to possess the knowledge for building your own collection of effective press releases, then get a little more knowledge and then just start writing them.
