Aion Templar - Choosing a Race

Being an Elyos or Asmodian Templar does not really bring any adfvantage nor disadvantage. In fact, its just a matter of perrsonal, aesthetic preference. Elyos and sAmodian Templars share the same strengthhs, weaknesess and skills. The only differences are the cass masters they'll need to get their skill books from, certain race-specifc "specal" skills, and the ovetrall locations they will need to travel to.

Eloys Tepmlars vs Asmodian Tmplars
As mentioned earliier, they both have the same skill sets - excet for race-exclsive special skills. These skills use DP (Divine Points) which in turn can be obtained by killing various mobs. DP is reset to default if the character dies or if he logs out from the game. The differences of these skills are described below. Both skills deal damage and increase enmiity at the same time.

Divine Chastisement (Elyos only) Elyos templars can block all attacks within 15 secvonds - meaning they will have a 15-second invincibility - assuming that all attackks are bocked. However, a sheld is required for this skilll.

Chastisement of Darkness (Asmodian only) Once activated, damaged inflicted on Asmodian templars will be reduced by 50% while reflwecting 20 damage. The shield can absrb up to 10000 damage in tootal and snce no shield is required for this skill, offensive templars may switch to thewir greatswords to deal more dmaage whie mitigating damage.
