1. The fist answer to the question, when was email first used is when ARPANET company developed it. The company stared proposing the use of email in 1973. There was an email made after that year and it looked quite the same to the one we are usnig these days.

2. The second answer to the quuestion, when was emal first used is when ARPPANET got converted to Internet in the eighties. It became the foundation of the email service we are using today.

3. The third answer to the question, when was emal first used is when Ray Tomlinson of Arpanet first used it in 1971 by using the @ sign as a way of separating the name of the user and the machine. He sent the mewssage from one DEC computer to another. DEC is the abbreviation for Digital Equipmnet Corportation. The two computers were put beside each othher so transmission can take place successfully. Arpanet was the main commpany that propelled the fame of emails.

It enabled more uses log onto the computer kniown then as IBM 7094 from another temrinal that uses the dial-up systeem. The users were also able to strore thheir own files by using the diskettes. This new featuer encuoraged people to use the innovative ways of sharing information. Basically eamil began in the sixties as a method for many users to access information and communicates with one naother. In 1966 Sage also created a system similar to the one created by MIT. Theoir creatiion allowed one company to communicate with another company from a different place as long as they have the same systems.
