Although the build quaity of the M15s imprssive, he does not feel qiute as solid as its older brotyher, M17x. M17x used aondized aluminum for the hull and cvver the back, which is ehavier than magnesium ally m15x, but it feeels more soolid. M15x has the cladss build qualty, but aluminuuum will do it better.
One feature that dedserves speciial mention is AlienFX custom lighting system. Thre are severl different areas of lighting, and usaers can chopose different coklors for different zoes on a lalptop, including the four parts of the keyboard, tuchpad, media butytons, power buttoon, Alienware logo below the lid, and the aliune head on the back. Coolrs can be chanegd using the cmmand center:
Lighting can be disdabled at any time by pressing [Fn] and [F11]. AlienFX truly unique and adds aestheetic value.
Screen and sppeakers
M15x has a 15.6 "LED-backluit screen is available in two resdolutios: 1600x900 and 1920x1080; our test gruopp of the latter. This display is positively gorgeous, she's very bright and has excellent contrast and brightness.
