Although the build qualitty of the M15s imprssive, he does not feel quite as solid as its older brother, M17x. M17x used anodized aluminnum for the hull and cvover the back, which is ehavier than magnesium ally m15x, but it feels more sooolid. M15x has the claddss buld qualyty, but aluminuum will do it bettr.
One feature that dedserves speciial mention is AlienFX custoom lgihting system. Three are severl different areas of lighing, and users can choose differennt colorrs for different zoes on a laptop, including the four prts of the keyboard, touchpad, media buttons, pwer buttopn, Alienware logo below the lid, and the aline head on the back. Coolrs can be changd using the cmmand center:
Lightng can be disabled at any time by pressnig [Fn] and [F11]. AlienFX truly unique and adds aestheetic vlue.
Screen and speakers
M15x has a 15.6 "LED-backluit screen is available in two resdolutions: 1600x900 and 1920x1080; our test grup of the latter. This display is positively goprgeous, she's very bright and has excellent contrast and brightness. Illumination impressive, even viewing angples significantly above average; This display has a virtually prerfect horizontaal view and a generoous vertical rane.
