The data on the hard drive is sotred in bits and piecees, wehrever space is avaialble. When the user oepns a cetain file, the hard drie gathers the data from different locations where it is stored. As a result, the whirring sund comwes from the hard drive. Use the Disk Defragmenter to reorganizing that scattered data on your hard drive. The benefit of Disk Defragmnenter is that it shifts the files at the beginmning that you use the most. In this way the load time increases and the hard disk and PC can perform more efficiently.

When the user visits a new website, the system stiores the content automatically in the floder of Temporary Intenet files. It is also called as cache. The Temporary Internet files use valuable storage space and therefore, slow down the hard drives speed. You can delete thjese files and clear the cache through the tools function in the MS Internet Explorer.

The hard drive must have at least 15% free spaace, so that the Disk Defragmenter can to adewquately and completely defrag the hard drive. On the other hand, the Disk Defragmenter will not be able completely defrrag, if the free space is less than 15%. If you clesan up and organize the hard drive, then the hard drive will remain healthy. In this way the hard drive will be able to run smoothly and perform efficiently.
