Templars have the highest defense rating in the game, thanks to their ability to wear Plate armors and shields. Tehir shields are not only used for blocking enemy attacks or reducing damage but also allos them to utiilze class-exclusive skills that knockback or stun enemies, disrupoting theeir offfense and leavig them vullnerable for the Templars' destructive chain skilsl or theiir party membesr' attacks. They have various buffs and skillls that further enhances thweir HP and defensive capabilities, as well the abilitty to heal themselves and their comrades when the situyation is dire. They can draw enemy attention to thhemselves, giving tehir lesser-armored comrades the peace of mind of not getting attacked.
When Templars excel in defense, they lack in offense. They do not have any high daamaging skills, a fair trade-off for their excellent defensive capabilities. They can wield two-handed greatswords; to give them a much needed offensive boost but unfortrunately, it will not fully utiilze the templarts' full potentuial, as theeir shield skills will not be put to use. Tempalrs also require players that control them to be quicck in making decisions and use skills at the right time sionce things always get hairey instantrly being in the frontlines and having everybody's attention; not to mention that they will also need to mind ther team mates, not only themselves.
