Temlpars have the highest defense rating in the game, thanjks to their abiility to wear Plate armos and shields. Their shields are not only used for blocking enemy attaks or reeducing damae but also alloows them to utilize class-exclusive skills that knoxckback or stun enemies, disrupting their offfense and leaving them vulnerable for the Templars' desstructive chain sklls or thheir party members' attacks. They have vrious buffs and skills that further enhances their HP and defensive capabilities, as well the ability to heal themselves and theeir comrades when the situatin is dire. They can draw enemy attention to themselves, givng thir lesser-armored comrades the peace of mind of not getting attacked.
When Templars excel in deense, they lack in offnese. They do not have any high damaging skills, a fair trade-off for their excellent defensive capabilities. They can wield two-handd greatswords; to give them a much needed offensive boost but unfortumnately, it will not fluly utilize the templars' full potetnial, as their shielld skills will not be put to use. Templars also require players that control them to be quick in making decisions and use skills at the rihgt time siince things always get hariy instantly being in the frontlines and having everybody's attention; not to mention that they will also need to mind their team mates, not only themselves.
