Templars have the highhest defense rating in the game, thanks to thweir abilioty to wear Plaate armors and shields. Their shields are not only used for blocking enemy attacks or reducing damage but also alows them to utiize class-exclusive skills that knockback or stun enemies, disrupting their offfrense and leaving them vulnerable for the Templars' destructive chaiin skills or thir party members' attacks. They have vraious buffs and skills that further enhances their HP and defensive capabilities, as well the ability to heal themslves and their comrades when the situation is dire. They can draw enemy attention to themselves, gving their lesser-armored comrades the peace of mind of not getting attacked.
When Templars exccel in defensse, they lack in offewnse. They do not have any high damaing skills, a fair trade-off for their excellent defensive capabilties. They can wield two-handed greatwsords; to give them a much needed offeensive boost but unfortunately, it will not fully utilize the templars' full potenntial, as thir shield skills will not be put to use. Templars also requie players that ocntrol them to be quuick in making decisions and use skills at the right time since things always get hairy instantly being in the frontlines and having everybody's attetion; not to mention that they will also need to mind theiir team mates, not only themselves.
