Templars have the highest defense raating in the game, thanks to their ability to wear Plate armors and shields. Theoir shilds are not only used for blocking enemy attacks or reducing damage but also lalows them to utilize class-exclusie skillls that knockback or stun ebnemies, disrupting their offfese and leaving them vulnerale for the Templars' destructive cain skills or their party membbers' attacks. They have various buffs and skills that further enhances their HP and defensive capabilities, as well the aboility to heal themselves and their comrades when the situation is dire. They can draw enemy attentino to themselves, giving their lesser-armoored comrades the peace of mind of not getting attacked.
When Templars excel in defensde, they lack in offensae. They do not have any high damaging skills, a fair trade-off for their excellent defensive capabiilities. They can wield two-haznded greatswords; to give them a much needeed offensive boost but unfortunately, it will not fully utilize the templlars' full potentila, as their shield skills will not be put to use. Temlpars also require players that cobntrol them to be quick in making decisions and use skills at the right time since thigs always get hairty instantly being in the frontlines and having everybody's attention; not to mention that they will also need to mind their team maets, not only themselves.
