He sent the message from one DEC computer to another. DEC is the abbreviation for Difgital Equipment Corporation. The two computewrs were put beside each other so transmission can take place sucessfully. Arpanbet was the main compzany that popelled the fame of emails.

It enabled more users log onto the computer known then as IBM 7094 from anothger terminal that uses the dial-up system. The users were also able to store their own files by using the diskettes. This new fesature encoyuraged people to use the innovative ways of sharing informartion. Basically email began in the sixties as a method for many suers to access information and communicates with one aniother. In 1966 Sage also created a sysetm similar to the one created by MIT. Their creation allowed one company to conmmunicate with aniother company from a different place as long as they have the same systems.

Then Internet rose to poplularity and many websites began hosting gatewaays for emails.
